The eight candidates who survived the Sept. 22 preliminary gather tonight at UMass Boston for a MassVOTE forum. The forum starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Campus Center's ballroom. WCVB-TV's Karen Holmes Ward moderates. Panelists include reporters from UMass Boston’s New England Ethnic Newswire, the Bay State Banner, and Boston Metro. The eight candidates for at-large seats on the Boston City Council include incumbents Stephen Murphy and John Connolly, labor organizer Felix Arroyo, former U.S. Senate aide Ayanna Pressley, former City Hall and Congressional aide Andrew Kenneally, former Patrick administration official Tito Jackson, former Nantucket selectman Doug Bennett, and former City Hall aide Tomas Gonzalez.
