The East Boston Savings Bank at 489 Gallivan Blvd. was robbed by a young man this morning, according to Boston Police, who say the suspect fled in a green Jeep Wrangler in the direction of I-93. No weapon was shown during the incident, which took place around 8:40 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 23 years old, 5’9″, medium build and clean-shaven, wearing a blue hat, grey hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers with red markings. There is no word yet on how much money was stolen in the robbery.
