Two dead in separate incidents last night in neighborhood

Two more people were murdered last night in Dorchester as an uptick in violent crime continued in Boston over the holiday weekend.

A fight outside a home at 42 Theodore St. on Friday around 10:30 p.m. is connected to one of the homicides, according to Boston Police, who say the victim walked to a local hospital where he — or she— died. (The victim's gender and age has not been released by police, who say the parties involved in the fight fled the scene before they arrived.)

Later on Friday night, just after 11 p.m., Boston Police say they were called to Adams Street near Ronan Park for a reported stabbing. Officers report finding a victim in the area of 205 Adams St. suffering from "an apparent stab wound." The male victim was taken to a local hospital where "he later succumbed to his injuries," according to BPD.
