The Savin Hillbillies will be playing the Dorchester Brewing Co. this Saturday, March 14 from 2-5 p.m. in the rooftop “Hopservatory.”

The Savin Hillbillies are a five-piece ensemble playing old-time Country & Western and Irish songs tailor-made for foot-stamping, howling, clapping, and of course, singing along. Featuring the songs of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, the Clancy Brothers, the Wolfetones, and many, many more, the band’s spirited approach to performance is matched by their dedication to sharing that music with their audience; dancing, exuberance, and lively hollerin’ often occur.
The energetic quintet consists of: Bill Walczak on guitar/accordian/vocals; James Hanford on fiddle; Jonathan Keller on standup bass fiddle; Joseph Lutz on banjo/vocals; and Rob Atterbury on guitar/vocals.
