The Record Co., a Dorchester-based nonprofit recording studio and music incubator, will host its next “3rd Thursday” community gathering on April 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at its headquarters at 55 Morrissey Blvd.
The free monthly event brings together musicians, producers, and creatives from across Greater Boston for an informal night of networking and collaboration. Attendees can meet fellow artists, share projects, and connect with others working in the region’s independent music scene.
Founded to provide affordable studio space, education, and career support for emerging artists, The Record Co. has become a hub for Boston’s music community, particularly for those who may not otherwise have access to professional recording resources.
Admission to the April 16 event is free, but registration is encouraged through therecordco.org.
