A person who was shot on Bowdoin Street just after 1 a.m. last night has died, according to Boston Police.
Officers were called to the location near 260 Bowdoin St. at 1:05 a.m., according to a police spokesperson, who said officers “located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
The location is near a municipal parking lot in the heart of the Bowdoin Street business district.
Police say the homicide— Boston’s sixth so far in 2026— is an active investigation.
