Education Program – The Education program at the Club is offering a variety of programs to enhance academics including drop in Homework Help, 1:1 Tutoring, and Small Group Clubs. Our evening enrichment clubs include CS First Coding (mondays), Quirkles and Gique STEAM (tuesdays), Reading Buddies (wednesdays), Global Explorers – Art Edition (thursdays) and Chess and Science Fridays (fridays). For our teen members we offer S.A.T. Prep (tuesdays) and Philopsophy Club (wednesdays). In addition High School students are encouraged to join College Fellows, with groups set up for Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Denney Center News
– Our Denney Center Unit is located in the Harbor Point Housing Community and primarily serves the residents of Harbor Point. The Center offers 1:1 Tutoring/Mentoring weekdays after school in partnership with UMass Boston as well as Science Club for Girls, Art Classes, Book Buzz, Philosophy Club, Kids Cafe, Torch Club, Nutrition Classes, McCormack Gym Nights, Keystone Club, and Athletes & Academics. Upcoming events include the Multi-Cultural Night (11/17) and Winter Showcase. For information on programs at the Denney Center please contact Chad Hassey (chassey@bgcdorchester.org).

Halloween Party
– On Friday 10/30, the Club will host it’s Annual Halloween Party for members ages 5-12 at our Walter Denney Center Unit located on Mt. Vernon Street from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Our Clubhouse locations will be closed to drop-in membership on this day, however, those needing transportation can take a ride beginning at 4:30 p.m. from our Marr Clubhouse.
