Spring Social Recreation Program – The Social Recreation program is based out of the Club’s Gamesroom and includes drop-in activities, holiday parties, field trips and small group clubs. On 3/24 we will be accepting registrations for our Bantam and Twilight programs. The Bantam program is for members ages 5 & 6 and has a limited enrollment. The program is offered weekdays from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Twilight program is an extended day program with activities from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. weeknights for ages 7 to 12. Other programs accepting registrations include Boys Group, Torch Club, Girl Scouts, Girls Group, Fencing Club and Lego Club. For more info please contact Zack Solomon (zsolomon@bgcdorchester.org).
Education Program News – The Winter session of classes are winding down and members are encouraged to register for the following Spring classes on 3/24: CS First Computer Coding (Mondays); Quirkles Science Club (Mondays); Gique (Tuesdays); My Future Tech (Tuesdays); Teen College Fellows (Tuesdays); Reading Buddies (Wednesdays); Global Explorers (Thursdays), Chess Champions (Fridays); and S.A.T. Prep. We are also currently accepting registrations for the NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) Academies being held this Summer. Museum of Fine Arts Family Day – The Fine Arts program at the Club is partnering with the Museum of Fine Arts to host a Family Arts Day at the Museum on 3/20. Members and parents are invited to take part in a tour and a class together from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Limited transportation is also available.
