About 200 people attended a special event hosted by The Reporter on May 28 at Southline Boston to support a new scholarship named for longtime Reporter and Boston Globe editor Thomas F. Mulvoy, Jr. The celebratory event drew many former Globe colleagues, many of whom had not been inside the former Globe headquarters since major renovations transformed it into Southline. Proceeds from the event will support the work of The Reporter and will also be used to fund a scholarship in Tom’s name for Boston neighborhood students interested in pursuing a career in journalism.
