College Fellows Program – The College Fellows program will kick-off the 2016-2017 school year on 9/27 at 6:00 p.m. College Fellows offers separate monthly workshops for Freshman (1st Tuesday), Sophomores (2nd Tuesday), Juniors (3rd Tuesday) and Seniors (4th Tuesday) each month. Each cohort of students participates in workshops that help guide them through the College matriculation process. Support BGCD Through the Rodman Ride for Kids – The Annual Rodman Ride for Kids will take place this coming Saturday (9/24) with over 1,000 riders taking part in 25, 50 and 100 mile ride routes. Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester is being supported by a number of sponsors, as well as individual riders, including several Alumni. Local business partners supporting the Ride include: The Harp & Bard Restaurant (Team Sponsor); Chill on Park (donating 10% of proceeds on 9/30); the Ice Creamsmith (donating 10% of proceeds on Mondays through 10/3); and Fitness Unlimited (day of fitness for women on 10/22). All-Star Floor Hockey Teams – The Club will be sponsoring two teams in the NENEAPC league that will compete against Clubs in the region from October to December. There will be a Girls 14&U team and a Boys 13&U team. Ages are determined as of 9/1/16. Try-outs will be taking place and regular season games will begin in late September.
