February School Vacation Week – Spots are quickly filling for the February School Vacation Week program. Club members ages 5-12 can take part in programs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from 2/17 to 2/20. Participants must be pre-registered and there is a $20 fee. Savin Hill Baseball – The Savin Hill Baseball program will be returning for it’s 2015 season with Registration and Spring Training dates on 2/22, 3/1 and 3/15. Teen Program News – The Teen program at the Club offers daily drop-in activities, small group clubs, field trips, and special events. One of our bigger programs is the Career Prep program, which is currently overseeing 35 teens in positions throughout our 3 Clubhouse locations. We will also be partnering with the City’s Department of Youth Engagement & Employment to offer a 6-part Job Ready Course for teens interested in securing summer employment which will begin in March. CitiWang Interactive Readings – The CitiWang Performing Arts Center will be partnering with the Club to offer two inter-active readings of the “I Have a Dream” book by Dr. Martin Luther King. Our Marr Clubhouse will host a reading on 2/24 and our Denney Center Unit will host a second event on 2/27. Both will be open to members 5-12 year of age.
