Marr-lin Swim Team Competes in Regional Championship
The Marr-lin Swim Team hit the road last month to compete in the regional championship meet held in Lebanon, NH. The members of the team who met attendance and sportsmanship requirements helped lead the team to a 5th place finish in the overall standings. Education Program News
In addition to our ongoing Homework Help program (Mon. – Thurs. from 2:30 – 7:00 p.m.) and One-to-One Tutoring program there are other ongoing and one-time programs being offered to assist our members academically. The following group clubs are offered weekly: Icky, Sticky & Goo Science (Wed.), PICO Crickets Inventions (Thurs.) and Scratch Computer Animation (Fri.). For our High School students the College Bound program will be transporting members and parents to a Family College Info Night at Simmons College (4/8) as well as taking teens to a College Fair at the World Trade Center (4/27). Other trips for our younger members ages 6-12 include a hike through the Arnold Arboretum (4/20), attending Jedies Totally Interactive Magic Circus (4/22) and a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts (TBD).
