Two-alarm fire damages Uphams Corner bakery, injures firefighter

A two-alarm fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday in the basement of the Fiesta Bakery, 14 Hancock St., the Boston Fire Department reports.

The fire, caused by an electrical short circuit, did $400,000 in damage and sent one firefighter to the hospital with a serious shoulder injury, the department says.
