Young child shot at Harambee Park cookout

Two teens on dirtbikes were sought Monday night for firing into a crowd at Harambee Park around 9:20 p.m., Monday, sending a child, possibly as young as 4, to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the back.

An adult in the crowd near Talbot Avenue and Wales Street was also hit, but suffered only a minor injury, according to a report by AlertNewEngland, which monitors police activity in the area.
