BearFight in progress: They play Garvey Playground on July 18.The city’s ParkARTS concert series will bring “Boston’s party band” BearFight to Neponset’s Garvey playground for an evening show on Thurs., July 18. The band plays covers of a diverse range of artists from U2 and Aerosmith to Kanye West and Tom Petty, according to their website. The free show starts at 7 p.m. at Garvey, located at 340 Neponset Ave.

The concert series begins on Tuesday, July 9, at 7 p.m. with the acoustic duo of Chris Mathison and Nick Leydon at Elliot Norton Park, 295 Tremont Street, Boston, followed by Swingin’ in the Fens at Ramler Park, located at 130 Peterborough Street in the Fenway, on Wednesday, July 17, at 6 p.m.
