District 4 City Councillor Andrea Campbell is back in Fields Corner. Her district office — at 1534 B Dorchester Ave. — opened last Wednesday. Three staff members will operate the office. Other members of the Campbell team, including the councillor, will be stopping in regularly.

Spokeswoman Leila Quinn said engagement of District 4 constituents is paramount, and the office gave the district residents access without needing to make the trek downtown to City Hall. “That’s what one of the major goals of our office was, that delivering of constituent services,” Quinn said.

Campbell is the only city councillor with a designated district office. The office will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Campbell’s office. Office costs are coming out of Campbell’s campaign coffers, staff said.
