– Plastic caps sculpture dedication, community celebration at 1:30 p.m. at BPL’s Grove Hall Branch, 41 Geneva Ave., Dorchester.

Sunday (28th)
– Family Solidarity Dinner and Event: Refugees in the Middle East, 5:30 p.m. Families as vehicles of peace. After a light Middle Eastern supper, adults will get an update on the crisis from Jeff Klein and Angela Kelly. The children will be engaged in meaningful activities, creating small notebooks and welcome/encouragement cards for children as they reach land or get to a camp. Dot Art, On Dot Books, Center for Arabic Culture and others will be on hand to work with adults and children. $20 donation will go to Oxfam’s programs in the Middle East. 10 Parish St., Dorchester.
