Nighttime adventure awaits at Franklin Park Zoo this month

Fall kicks off at Franklin Park Zoo with fun and family-friendly Halloween events during the month of October— including Zoo Howl by day and The Midnight Zoo by night.

Midnight Zoo is a 360-degree immersive experience of 20 never-before-seen fantastical creatures that will surround visitors and show them different realms of the imagination in partnership with Puppet Showplace Theater.There will be elaborate costumes, masterful design, and moonlit surprises in this haunted habitat trail. Visit this spooky event is ongoing now on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until October 30 from 6-10 p.m. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and performances will begin at 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets range from $10 to $15. Kids can get their costumes ready to trick-or-treat among the animals on Sat., Oct. 29 and Sun., Oct. 30 from 11-3 p.m. Zoo Howl features creepy crafts, “pumpkin enrichment,” ghoulish games, a haunted maze and costume contests.
