Club Wins National Award

Club Wins National Award - Represented by Director of Inclusion Services, Dianne Lescinskas, the Club received a prestigious Merit Award for Program Excellence from Jim Clark, President, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The award was recently presented during Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s 109th National Conference in Chicago. Merit Awards for Program Excellence, are sponsored by MetLife Foundation and presented annually for outstanding programs developed and implemented to lead youth to great futures at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. Each honoree also receives a $2,500 award. Each year, hundreds of entries are submitted in the five core program areas: character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills; the arts; and sports, fitness and recreation. NFTE Summer Program
- Spots are filling fast for our new summer Academy with NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) which will be held from 7/6 to 7/17 at Boston College High School. Spring Fine Arts program
- The Club’s Fine Arts Spring program schedule wil run through the week of 6/19 when we host our quarterly “Arts Bash.” Currently, we are offering Painting/Color Theory, Design 101, Sculpture, Set Design, Teen Arts, and our class with the Museum of Fine Arts.
