Marr-lin Swim Team Hosts Woburn - The Marr-lin Swim Team kicked off the dual-meet season by hosting the Woburn BGC. The team is now practicing three nights a week as it continues the meet schedule which includes Watertown (11/21), Billerica (12/5), Worcester (12/12) and Roxbury (12/19). Intramural Flag Football - The 4-team Junior division (ages 8-12) of Intramural Flag Football played two games this past Saturday as the league nears the play-off season. In the opener the Panthers defeated the Jaguars 68-38. Nasir Monteiro (4 TD’s), Dimitrius Parra (3 TD’s), Jyier Hyppolite (2 TD’s), Sebastian Coyle (1 TD) and Patrick DaSilva (1 TD) led the Panthers while John Pierre (2 TD’s), Tommy Christopher (1 TD), Carlos Guevara (1 TD), Jaylen Sanders (1 TD) and Josiah Dujour (1TD) led the Jaguars. In the second game the Lions, behind Thomas Smalls (5 TD’s) and Lamar Pina (4 TD’s) defeated the Bengals 64-58. The Bengals were led by Isaiah Gibbs (5 TD’s), Aiden Rego (1 TD), Isaiah Gomes (1 TD) and Joshua Bennett (1 TD). Kids Cafe Thanksgiving Dinner - On 11/24 we will host our Annual Kids Cafe Family Thanksgiving Dinner in the Gamesroom. Parents are invited to join their children for a Family meal to celebrate the upcoming holiday. The Dinner will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and includes turkey, stuffing, sweet potato, green beans, dinner rolls, gravy and dessert.
