At-Large race: the baby factor

City Councillor At-Large John Connolly’s schedule could get even more hectic: His wife Meg is due on Sept. 22, the day of the preliminary. “Any day now,” Connolly said. “When it’s time to go to the hospital, that’s where I’ll be.”

The new baby will join the Connollys’ one-year-old daughter, Clare.

Connolly won’t be the only guy with a new kid in tow on the campaign trail: Jamie Chisholm, who is running Ayanna Pressley’s campaign for a City Council At-Large seat, became a father on Aug. 14 after his wife Lauren gave birth to a girl, Alice Evangeline.
