In last minute move, St. Fleur backs Henriquez in Fifth Suffolk

Former state Rep. Marie St. Fleur is making a last-minute endorsement in the race to succeed her, backing Carlos Henriquez in the four-way Democratic primary.

The robo-call went out yesterday in the Fifth Suffolk District.

St. Fleur stepped down from her seat earlier this year to take a high-level government relations job in the Menino administration. When stepping down, she said she would not be endorsing a candidate in the race.

The other candidates include Democrats Barry Lawton, former state Rep. Althea Garrison and Roy Owens.
