Melanie Mulvey

Melanie Mulvey, daughter of Richard Mulvey and Dianne Morad of Boston, was recently awarded a certificate marking her completion of the International Scholars Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Co-sponsored by Commonwealth Honors College and the International Programs Office, the program enhances students’ international study experience. Mulvey studied in Paris, France.

In 2010, Mulvey was among only 25 students nationwide selected to participate in the 16th cohort of the Institute for International Public Policy Fellowship Program, one of the nation’s premier fellowships in global affairs. In May, Mulvey graduated magna cum laude with a self-designed major in global relations and advocacy and earned Commonwealth Honors College honors with great distinction. She is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She graduated from Boston Latin School in 2008.
