College Bound Dorchester celebrated the progress of its work at We Are Uncornered, the organization’s annual fundraising gala on June 5. Boston Uncornered sets the expectation of college for formerly gang involved youth and supports them as they pursue college degrees with a weekly $400 stipend that allows them to focus on education. Visitors to the gala got a sneak peek at the Uncornered Photo Project, an exhibit by renowned photographer John Huet coupled with stories featuring both public figures and College Bound Dorchester students, leaders and mentors.
