The Vietnamese-American Community of Massachusetts and the Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association (IVSA) will celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year by hosting the 30th annual Tet in Boston Festival on Sat., Jan. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Flynn Cruiseport on 1 Black Falcon Ave. in South Boston.

The festival is a celebration of Vietnamese culture that includes various activities and events such as traditional dances, children’s activities, food vendors, and a beauty pageant. Each year, the festival attracts over 5,000 attendees and 80 local vendors.

Admission to the festival is free, but donations are encouraged to help offset production and setup costs. A portion of proceeds will also go towards the Dreams Scholarship, a scholarship provided to high school seniors by the New England IVSA. Parking is $10.

You can register for the festival here. If you are interested in becoming a vendor or sponsor, please email tetfestivalboston@gmail.com.
