The Boston Police Department reports arresting a man they say stabbed Ruth Foster, 56, to death in her apartment on Withington Street in Dorchester on Oct. 14, 1997.
Police say fugitive-unit officers arrested Brian Keazer, 50, around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in Jamaica Plain.
Police found Foster’s body with multiple stab wounds near her bed, the Boston Globe reported at the time.
Keazer is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday in Suffolk Superior Court, police say.
