A man was shot and killed on Thursday night on a residential street near Grove Hall, police say.
Officers responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 163 Ruthven St. in Dorchester just after 10 p.m., according to a BPD account.
A police statement reads: “Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim outside of this location, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Preliminary investigation suggests the incident may have occurred inside a vehicle that subsequently crashed. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.”
