Dorchester’s Anthony Meeks was honored as a ‘Hero Among Us’ by the Boston Celtics during a game on Tuesday night at the TD Garden.
As a member of the city’s Street worker program, Meeks works tirelessly to build relationships and show youths and young adults opportunities for education, healthcare, and employment. When tragedies occur, Anthony counsels survivors and ensures families receive resources to deal with trauma.
During his 15 years of service Anthony has positively impacted thousands of Boston families as he continues to work for peace.
