An after-hours fight between two managers at the Kriola Restaurant at 33 Hancock St. last month resulted in injuries and a written violation, Boston Police said. Officers were called to the bar and restaurant just after 12:30 a.m. on March 21, according to C-11 commander Capt. Time Connolly.
“The owners were uncooperative and less than accurate when officers arrived,” Connolly said. A physical altercation broke out over cleaning the floors, according to the police report. When a female employee stepped in to intervene, she was pushed aside and injured her face, police said. One of the managers was bleeding from the fight, Connolly said. No arrests were made.
The eatery— which was approved for a beer and wine license last October over the concerns of some neighbors— will appear before the Licensing Board in the coming weeks. Connolly said Boston Police will be on hand to testify.
