A women-owned events company is teaming up with up with ester restaurant in Dorchester’s Lower Mills to host two flower arranging events in October and December.
Fabulous Fall Flowers will be held on Thurs., Oct. 5 and guests are invited to “sip back” and enjoy their floral creations. Winter Holiday Centerpieces will be held on Tues., Dec. 12 with a “festive focal point” for guests’ holiday celebrations.
Each event will offer creative and helpful tips and tricks to master flower arranging. Both events start at 6:30 p.m. but the doors will open at 5:30 with a full menu available at Ester to enjoy. The flower-arranging usually lasts from one to two hours and the flowers, vases, and tools needed to create the floral arrangement will all be provided. Tickets are $65.
The events are sponsored by Alice’s Table, a company founded in 2015 by Alice Rossiter, which seeks to empower women entrepreneurs.
Traci Ready, event coordinator for Alice’s Table, said that ester is the perfect venue.
“I just love the vibe and farm-to-table dishes at ester,” said Ready. “Their garden and patio are amazing and their love for creativity and flowers is what sets them apart.”
