The New England Women’s Leadership Awards 2025 will be held on Tues., May 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Seaport Hotel in Boston to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester. Honorees include Lisa Donovan of Kiss 108 and Harmoni Turner, Harvard Women’s Basketball, and the Corcoran Women: Gayle, Kathryn, and Linda Corcoran, along with Suzanne Corcoran Early and Tricia Corcoran Chapple. The Little Miss and Young Miss Dorchester contests are scheduled for Sat., May 17, at the Saint John Paul II Academy’s Columbia Road campus. Girls ages 7 to 9 will compete for the title of Little Miss Dorchester, while those ages 10 to 12 will be vying to become 2025’s Young Miss Dorchester. The Dorchester Historical Society presents “From the Top of the Bog to Boston,” a talk by the author and historian Kathleen T. Cummings on Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Boston Collegiate Charter School, 11 Mayhew St. The brief DHS annual meeting will precede the talk.
