Mattapan’s David Halbert has been appointed to the board of directors of the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center (MassBudget).
The executive director of Bay State Progress with a focus on building “progressive civic infrastructure,” Halbert was 2021 candidate for the Boston City Council.
He serves in numerous civic leadership roles including the Advisory Board for Northeastern University’s Policy School; the Greater Mattapan Neighborhood Council and Union Combined Parish.
