As Boston prepares to co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup during the country’s 250th birthday celebration, the John F. Kennedy Library and Arizona State University’s Great Game Lab will explore President Kennedy’s sporting legacy at a special event this Thursday (July 10) from 7 to 8 p.m. featuring Natalia Mehlman Petrzela, a professor at The New School and author of “Fit Nation: The Gains and Pains of America’s Exercise Obsession,” and members of Harvard Women’s Soccer team in a wide-ranging discussion with Great Game Lab Co-Directors Victoria Jackson and Andrés Martinez.

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the US Senate invites the public to join them for two free open houses for all ages from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on this Friday (July 11) or Fri., Aug. 15.
