150 Club Members to attend Outing to Shawnee Peak

The Boys and Girls Club is pleased to announce a new special event on our Winter calendar. Thanks to a special offer from our friends at the Shawnee Peak Ski Area, 150 Club members will enjoy a full day of skiing or snowboarding at the Bridgton, ME mountain. Chet Homer, owner of the Shawnee Peak Ski Area stated, “I am lucky to be able to provide a day on the slopes for the kids of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester. It should be a day of great fun for all!!” Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Homer, lift tickets, equipment, lessons and more will be made available to our members attending at no cost. The 150 members invited on the trip will be heading north on 1/8 after attending fitting/orientation sessions on 12/13 & 12/14. While there our members will spend a full day on the slopes, for many, their first time experiencing skiing or snowboarding. We would like to extend our thanks to Mr. Homer and his staff for their hospitality and generosity and we congratulate those members selected to participate.
