Impact Program – The Impact program is partnering with the Club to offer a 4-part workshop on Safety and Risk prevention for all of our young women heading off to College in the Fall. The trainings, which will take place on 7/19, 7/21, 7/26 and 7/28 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., will give you the practical skills to address violence and abuse in College. Participants will learn: How to de-escalate potentially threatening situations; Effective physical self-protection skills; strategies to stop sexual assualts perpetrated by people you know; How to safely speak up and challenge abusive behavior and; Empowerment & Self Confidence. July Summer Program Trips – The July calendar has a number of trips on the schedule for our registered day program participants including: Nantasket Beach (7/7), Southwick Zoo (7/12), George’s Island (7/13), Hingham Shipyard (7/14), Children’s Museum (7/18), Roger Williams Zoo (7/19), Museum of Science (7/21), N.E. Aquarium (7/25), Cosmic Bowling & Harvard Museum (7/26), Ward’s Berry Farm (7/27) and Carousel Family Fun Center (7/28). Athletic Program – This Summer the Club will be partnering with Tenacity and the First Tee to offer off-site instructional programs. Registered members with an interest in Tennis will take lessons on Fridays at Savin Hill Park while those with an interest in Golf will take lessons on Mondays at Franklin Park.
