Club to Partner with N.F.T.E. Program – The Club is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with the NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) program to offer a 2-week intensive Business Academy this coming summer. The program will run from 7/6 to 7/17 on a full day schedule for members entering, or currently in High School. Our thanks to Boston College High School for hosting us. While in the program participants will learn how to develop a business model and bring it to life. The program will include field trips (including a wholesale day trip to NYC) and guest speakers aimed at providing members with the entrepreneurial mindset and business skills needed to launch a business and succeed in life. Applications are now available and we will hold our next registration/orientation session on 4/3. Spots are being filled on a first come basis. Spring Indoor Soccer Program – This Spring the Club will host a 4-team, co-ed Indoor Soccer League for players ages 8-12 on Saturday afternoons. There will also be a weekly skills Clinic open to all league players, as well as an All-Star team formed that will compete against Clubs in the region. All programs begin in April. April Vacation Week – Registrations are currently being accepted for our April School Vacation Week. The Club will operate on an 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. schedule for members ages 5 to 12. The registration fee is $20 and spots are being filled on a first come basis through 4/17 at 3:00 p.m. Teen members will have programming from 1:00-9:00 p.m. For more information contact Kevin Vo (kvo@bgcdorchester.org).
