Fine Arts & Music Program News

In addition to the ongoing Fine Arts classes (painting, drawing, girls art, boys art & sculpture), as well as our One-to-One and small group music instruction, there are several special events on the horizon. After weeks of construction, the finishing touches are being put on our new Music Clubhouse. After several years of success, the music program will now have its very own space for drop-in and structured classes. The projected opening of the Clubhouse will be May 11. At the same time, our music students are going through final rehearsals for the recital which will be held on May 22. This will be a chance for our students to showcase all they have learned for family, friends and their fellow club members. We would also like to congratulate the following members of the Photography Club: Mason Brooks, Patricia Rizzo and D’Mitra Weathers, each of whom will be representing our Club with photos in the Northeast Regional Exhibit of Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s Imagemaker competition. For more information on our Fine Arts program please contact Donna Seery and for the Music Instruction program you can contact Alex Budrow, both of whom can be reached at (617) 288-7120, ext. 103.
