Intramural Soccer – The Intermediate/Senior Basketball League (I/SBL) completed the best of three Championship series for both divisions this past week. In the Intermediate Division Stanford, behind Octavius Nunes (22) captured game one over Georgia Tech by a score of 54-52. Georgia Tech was led by Malik Montrond (20). In the second game Georgia Tech bounced back to defeat Stanford 50-47. Malik Montrond (25) and Octavius Nunes (20) led Georgia Tech and Stanford respectively. In the decisive 3rd game it was Stanford pulling out a 77-67 victory. Stanford was led by Isaiah Andrade (27) while Dana Monteiro (19) led Georgia Tech. In the Senior Divsion T.J. Silva (21) led California to a 71-63 win over UConn. Walter Dew-Hollis (23) led UConn. In the second game UConn bounced back for a 68-66 victory. Walter Dew-Hollis (41) led UConn while Jason Monteiro (16) led California. The deciding game three was held this past Saturday with California defeating UConn by a score of 78-75. In the deciding game California was led by T.J. Silva (25) while UConn was led by Walter Dew-Hollis (26). Congratulations to all four finalists on an exciting play-off tournment final. S.B.L.I Tedy Bruschi Clinic – Thanks to our friends at S.B.L.I., 10 lucky members will be traveling to Gillette Stadium next week to take part in the Annual Tedy Bruschi Football Clinic. Our members will have the opportunity to meet former and current players, take part in drills on the field, enjoy dinner, and more. Each member completed an essay on teamwork to take part in the event. Congratulations to all those selected.
