Marr-lin Swim Team News – The Marr-lin Swim Team kicked off their dual-meet season this past weekend by traveling to the Woburn Club. They will host Charlestown this weekend (11/8) before holding their Annual Swim-a-athon Fundraiser (11/15). They will close out November by hosting the Lawrence Club (11/22). For December the team will travel to Waltham (12/6) and host Billerica & Blue Hill (12/20). The team is open to members ages 6 to 18 with an emphasis on sportsmanship, dedication, and hard work. Teen Program News – The Teen Program will be offering a trip to Lazer Quest (11/14) and a Tie Dye Shirt Making event (11/21) this month. We are also offering teen members two on-line opportunities. The first is with SALT, a financial literacy and college planning tool where members will take part in 8 modules throughout the school year. The second is with Career Village, a program that offers teens the opportunity to get advice from professionals in the careers they have questions on. Those teens interested in taking part can speak to Nate to register. These events/programs are in addition to the Girls Group, Boys Group, Keystone Leadership program, FIT Club, Yoga Class, Kids Cafe Dinner program, and more. Career Prep Program – The Club is pleased to partner with Mayor, Martin J. Walsh and the Department of Youth Engagement & Employment to bring on deserving teens to our Career Prep program. The teens will be placed in program areas throughout our three Clubhouse locations to support the respective Director they will be working with.
