Music Clubhouse Idol Program ..

Music Clubhouse Idol Program

After hosting the monthly Open Mic Night event on 2/18, the Music program will begin outreach for interested members to take part in the Clubhouse Idol program. We will host our first round auditions on 3/10 (Walter Denney Youth Center) and 3/11 (Marr/McLaughlin Clubhouses). Individuals or groups must be ages 10 & older and will have to pre-register. After the initial auditions, acts will be invited back on 3/25 to perform in front of judges and to advance a pre-selected number of acts to the Clubhouse Idol Finale on 4/8, where one act will be chosen to represent our Club. The winner of this event will then go on to compete against the winners from the other Music Clubhouse locations at Berklee College in May. For information on the Music Clubhouse program, which includes lessons, drop-in times and more, please contact Ayeisha Mathis at ext. 1410.
