National Fine Arts Entries – The Club is pleased to announce that the following members have had their artwork submitted to the regional art show as part of Boys & Girls Club’s of America’s National Fine Arts competition: Brianna Buckley (Cardboard Tree Sculpture); Ethan Bell (Plaster Iguana Sculpture); Shyanne Lawrence (printmaking – “Smiling Sun”); Vladimira Amado (acrylic painting – ”Still Life of Fruit”); Ana Marie Lopes (watercolor – ”Still Life of Fruit and Flowers”); Sweensey Alexis (monochromatic acrylic painting – “Roads and Mountains”); Angie Dias (multi-medium collage – “Sin Lin Hu: Memories”);

Alondra Cromwell-Thomas (acrylic painting – “Blue Night”); Ella LeBlanc (multi-color drawing – “My Uncle”); Isiah Selmon-Forrester (pastel drawing – “Pink House”); Jasmina Pham (multi-medium collage – “Trip to New York City”); Jaliyah DuJour-Marshall (crayon resist watercolor painting – “Hand”);

Zojondria Cumberlander (pastel drawing – “Henri Rousseu Jungles”); India DePina (watercolor – ”Still Life of Fruit”); Group (faux glass sculpture – ”Chihuly Inspired”). Members are also busy creating artwork for the Attorney General’s Victim Compensation Calendar and Mayor, Martin J. Walsh’s Fair Housing Poster. Our Winter classes will run through the end of March and registration for Spring Classes will take place on 3/7. Members of the Month
– Congratulations to the following members who have been selected as our February Members of the Month: Mallory Powell, Taniya Scott, Calvin Nguyen, Jaliyah Dujour-Marshall, Cordell Givens, Jessica Martin, Lamuel Pierre-Charles, Harlem Kindell, Kaylani Guzman and Luis Castro. These members will each be recognized in all three clubhouse locations for their accomplishments.
