Winter Arts program has something for all ages

The Winter

..

The Winter Arts program is set to begin the week of January 4 with a mix of pre-registered and drop-in programming available. We will offer a Fine Arts Class schedule that will include Drawing (Mondays), Painting (Tuesdays), Sculpture (Wednesdays), Boys Art (Thursdays), Girls Art (Thursdays) and Arts & Crafts (Fridays). With the exception of Thursday’s Boys/Girls Art Classes, which will run at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. respectively, each remaining medium will have a class for Bantams/Cadets (ages 6 to 9) at 3:30 and a class for Juniors (ages 10-12) at 4:30 p.m. These classes require pre-registration.
For our older artists look for the following schedule of classes to be offered in the evenings starting at 6:30 p.m. – Fashion Photography (Mondays), Open Art (Tuesdays), Beginning Photography (Wednesdays), Teen Art (Thursdays) and Open Art (Fridays).

These classes are in addition to a weekday Gamesroom Art class offered at 3 p.m. While the Winter classes are taking place the program staff will also be busy preparing works created by members over the past year to be entered into Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s National Fine Arts and Photography competitions. For more information on the Arts program please contact Donna Seery at ext. 1320.
