CEILING THE DEAL: With the countdown to debt default disaster still ticking down, Congress in finally at the end game (Globe) and sending a House-approved bill to the Senate. Several members of the House delegation voted against the proposal last night (T&G, Sun Chron., Daily Item), and local leaders are bracing (WWLP) for up to a $400 million loss of federal funding because of the plan (Globe).
