Mayor Menino will attend the 2nd Annual Steven P. Odom Basketball Tournament atMadison Park High School in Roxbury. Steven Odom was shot and killed on October 4, 2007 at the age of 13 and the basketball tournament is held in his memory.

Mayor Menino will address the Peace Hip Hop Festival which celebrates the peace-making capacity of hip-hop and encourages constructive creative expression.
